Northern Ohio Golf Course Superintendent's Association Reverse Raffle

As some of you may be aware, I am the president of the NOGCSA for the second year in a row.  The NOGCSA was established in 1923, and is the oldest chapter of the Golf Course Superintendent's Association of America.  My uncle was chapter president in 1960 and 1962, and my father served on the board of directors for several years in the 70's.  We have a very strong chapter, and hold monthly golf and education meetings, as well as providing an avenue for communication and camaraderie among area Superintendents.

One of our newer projects is an Annual Reverse Raffle that is used to raise funds for legacy and turfgrass scholarships, and to help fund research in turfgrass science.  This year marks our 14th Annual Reverse Raffle to be held at Raintree Country Club, in Uniontown, Ohio on March 5th, 2016.
